After the launched of the new iPhone 6s in the Indian market just a while back, Apple has now launched the iPad Pro in the market too. The Pro Tablet will be available in Apple retail stores from second week of December 2015.
While there is no official confirmation of the price from Apple’s side, NDTV’s Gadgets 360 reported from trusted sources that the prices for the iPad Pro would start at Rs. 67,900 for the 32GB Wi-Fi only model. The 128GB Wi-Fi model will cost Rs. 79,900/-, while the 128GB Wi-Fi + cellular model will be priced at Rs. 91,900. Official Apple retailers in India will be receiving the iPad Pro stock this week.
NDTV Gadgets 360 also reported that the the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard will not launch in India along with the iPad due to supply constraints all across the globe.
The iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch 2732×2048 retina display, which gives you a total of 5.6 million pixels on screen. It is packs a powerful “desktop class” A9X processor, which is 1.8X times faster than previous processor. Apple demonstrated its impressive processing power by running AutoCAD computer aided design software at its launch event.
For professionals seeking out a smaller but robust device to edit and process images, the iPad pro seems to be a good bet, especially with Adobe’s recent push with developing capable apps for mobile devices. Adobe also recently made Lightroom for mobile a free download. However, we have to wait to see how potential users react to the pricing of this Tablet. We however, cant wait to get our hands on one for an indepth review. So watch this space for more!
